Three of our Juniors took part in Sundays Alsager 5 Road Race. Having competed and qualified for Staffordshire (with just 1 shoe) the day before Jacob Droogmans took on the Seniors at the flat and fast Alsager race. Jacob had an excellent run finishing in 56th position overall with a chip time of 28.41. Jacob was also the first Newcastle finisher in the race. This currently ranks Jacob in 1st position nationally for 2017. Next in with another big PB was Ryan Wood, recording 34.42 for 232nd place, Matt Cuthbertson also had a great run and recorded another PB when he finished in 291st position in a time of 35.42. Well done to all three of our Juniors.
