We had 6 juniors taking art in Saturdays Staffordshire Track & Field Championships held at Wolverhampton’s Aldersley Stadium.
In the U/13 Girls Lucy Brownsword was 3rd in both the 70m hurdles and the 1500m in 17.1 seconds and 6.14.8 minutes – both of which were PB’s!
In the U/17 Women we had three competitors in the 1500m and Elizabeth Clarkson won silver in 5.11.9 minutes, Misha Twardochleb won bronze in 5.17.9 (PB) and Nadine Tomkinson was 4th in 5.27.1 (PB).
In the U/20 Women Alex Oakley won her first county championship gold in the 800m, running 2.31.5 minutes (PB)
In the U/17 Mens 1500m Lewis Nagington set another PB of 4.20.2 minutes, finishing in silver medal position.
