Trafford AC Open Meeting was held at Stretford on Saturday, with five of our athletes competing. U/20 Misha Twardochleb ran her first race in 13 months competing in the 800m and finished 3rd in her race in 2:42.27, Lewis Nagington also returned to racing the 800m and was rewarded with his first sub 2 performance running 1:58.94. In the 1500m Jacob returned to Stretford just 2 weeks since his last race at the same event and proceeded to knock 5 seconds off his seasons best and a new PB of 4:11.99. In the final heat of the 1500m’s James Fradley finished 2nd in his first 1500m since 2015 and recored the great time of 3:50.06. In the 3000m Becky Twardochleb finished 7th in heat 2 just failing to beat her previous best and recording 10:15.23.
