It is with regret that we report that Peter Goodfellow, one of our Life Members, sadly passed away on Sunday 24th April.
Pete was an England Cross Country International Athlete and joined the club following the demise of North Staffs and Stone Harriers. He was a prominent figure at the club and had many roles over the years, including committee member and Newsletter editor. Our Senior Mens Cross Country Awards were donated by and are named in his honour.
Pete was always willing to support Newcastle (Staffs) Athletic Club and will be sadly missed by those who knew and were inspired by him .
Pete’s Funeral will be held at Bradwell Crematorium at 12:40 pm on Wednesday 18th May.
Our thoughts are with his Ian, Sophie and the rest of his family and close friends at this time.
