Louis Wakefield (representing Macclesfield District Schools) took part in the Cheshire Schools Cross Country Championships held at Knights Grange, Winsford on Saturday. Louis was competing in the Minor Boys race held over 2km, on a similar course to the one used in the North Staffs XC League last year. Louis finished in 24th position, and sixth Macclesfield counter, narrowly missing out on selection for Cheshire in their forthcoming inter-counties race. Congratulations Louis on your first District Vest.
