Saturday 22 February saw the annual English National Cross Country Championships taking place at Wollaton Park, Nottingham. Thankful the weather on the day was kind but the previous months of rain certainly had an effect on parts of the course making the going rather hard in places!
Just Evie Worsey lined up in this race and she had a great run over the 3.7km loops to finish in 319th position in a time of 21:12. Well done Evie.
Our four U/15 girls who competed were lead home by Molly Ibbs in 254th (24:20), followed by Lucy Brownsword in 346th (26:47), Beatrice Wakefield in 350th (26:53) and Mathilde Wakefield in 365th (28:17).
