Lauren Charlton (U/20) took her first Midlands call up in her stride to produce a fantastic performance and smashed her existing 10km PB of 38:36 by a huge 81 seconds when finishing in 37:15 at Sundays Stirling 10km Road Race. Representing the Midlands Lauren raced in the inter area competition that was included in the Stirling 10km.
That run puts her into 14th in the country over 10km with fellow clubmates Rebecca Twardochleb 19th, Sophie Goodfellow 24th and Grace Ranford 37th – Great for the future of the club! Congratulations Lauren from all at the club. Thanks to Lauren’s Dad for the photos.
