Two Senior Newcastle teams took part in last Saturdays Brooks Midlands Road Relays held at Sutton Park, Sutton Coldfield. We also had several Juniors teams taking part and details of their races can be found in the Juniors Section
The Senior Ladies Team of Hannah Jones (20.14), Lorraine Droogmans (24.55), Sue Twardochleb (22.02) and Rachel Wakefield (20.02) finished in 61st Position in a total time of 1.27.13 for the 4 x 4.315km course.
In the Masters Mens 6 x 5.848km race unfortunately we only had four runners taking on the undulating course, with Martin Bailey (23.16), Kevin Oakley (29.16), Jared Bridgewood (25.47) and Paul Wakefield (28.48), the team withdrew from the race whilst in 24th position.
