Two club members travelled up to compete in Sundays latest Trafford Open Meeting held at the Longford Park Stadium, Stretford. Lewis Nagington and Jacob Droogmans were competing in the 1500m and were drawn in the same Heat 6 Race – the fastest heat of the day. Both Lewis and Jacob got involved in the keenly contested race right from the gun and both were rewarded with new PB’s with Lewis finishing 3rd in 4:05.04 and Jacob in 9th in 4:10.90. Well done to our athletes and it was great to see them both continue their early season form and claim hard earned PB’s!
